

Taking executives, leaders and diplomatic personnel from Government and NGO’S to high levels of Business English competency with emotional intelligence,
Kerry has amassed 25 years experience in Private and Government environments including major Universities and provides Corporate Business English and Communications Training with particular focus on the finer nuances of language, steering Business English participants to the next level in using language with emotional intelligence.
Her unique expertise is derived from a background in Senior Human Resource and Training Management and Community Migrant Services, together with Degree Studies in Social Work|Social Psychology; Post Graduate studies in Teaching English as a Second Language and experience teaching Specialist Business English programs at The University of Sydney.
She has worked in Cross Cultural Community Development where she wrote funding submissions and was highly successful negotiating grant awards to mobilise services to Australia’s migrant community in the areas of: health; education; legal and finance by way of presentations and liaising with local members and key government officials.
This experience gained whilst working as an Australian Immigration Department funded Grant in Aid Community Development Worker. She has also facilitated and taught communications workshops at tertiary level for interpreters working towards the NAATI qualification. Kerry has undertaken University studies in Psycho Linguistics.
Your Business English Consultant and Trainer
Kerry is an Awardee of the Rotary Graduate Scholarship for International Understanding attending Universita Degli Studi per Stranieri Perugia and Lorenzo de Medici, Firenze.
She has herself presented at events for International Understanding in Italian in Italy, a language she studied as an adult and “walks the talk” in relation to the Communication and Business English services she delivers. She has received High Ratings for teaching excellence for verbal and non verbal skills training to perfect and polish presentation skills for International Business students, in University of Sydney language programs.
Her participants report their thorough enjoyment of training provided and the motivational environment propagated, by Kerry’s ability to deliver the Business English program with enthusiasm, wit and humour creating a friendly, non threatening and convivial atmosphere.
It is these very skills that participants also like to observe and practice and in particular those who have Business involving international Relations and where the learning outcomes allow:

Our Approach
Kerry is adept at tuning into the individual talents of her participants, with a deep understanding of personality styles to allow people to break free of stereotypes that might inhibit their language and presentation performance.
Her experience in social psychology, personality styles and language instruction together with natural communicative skills, endows her with the ability to honour and give credence to all personality styles. Participants are assisted in self discovery, finding the special key within themselves to unlock their own linguistic potential and power by working with strengths.
This approach allows for a non adherence to stereotypes, facilitating transformational growth. Many participants have indicated their tendency towards introversion as a “challenge” for English communication, negotiation and diplomacy.
Kerry’s repartee to this, is that some of our great leaders past and present are in fact introverts and linguistic competence gives the confidence to interact in English for successful communications as does, understanding natural strengths which prevail across all languages and cultural groups.
Kerry has also presented in English to radio broadcast and television media and including live call in for Australia’s Channel 7 Sunrise “Careers Line” broadcast at peak morning time with 6 million viewers. She loves music and to sing and draws on this natural ability to provide exercises and fun activities in her training to help participants make the best of their vocal strength.
Kerry visits Europe each year where she is based in Italy and flexible at request to conduct individual and group training in other countries in Europe from March to November of the year as well as assignments in the Southern Hemisphere.
